Natural Healing and Holistic Wellness for Your Pets
Through holistic pet care, we emphasize the body's natural ability to heal itself aided by the use of non-toxic, natural therapy. The holistic approach to pet care is centered on the animal as a whole and focuses primarily on preventative measures to secure a long and healthy life for your pet.
Since 2003, Trina has been helping four legged and two legged clients with the highest quality of standards in natural health. Currently, Cornerstone Wellness Center has pet clients that are consulted holistically for stress related to depression, anxiety, cancer, rehabilitation, and parasites among other issues. Among the Center's clients are several dogs that have been rescued from abusive situations and are dealing with aggression, bad habits and behavioral problems.
Trina believes that it is essential for a holistic animal consultant to use all of their "senses" during the session with an animal. She is an advocate of the use of quantum biofeedback therapy for pets and has proven results showing how biofeedback is used to balance the stress from conditions or ailments which allows the body, mind and spirit to heal itself more easily. It does not treat a condition rather it balances the stress that is experienced from living with the condition.
What is biofeedback and how can it help
pets?
Quantum biofeedback is administered using a sophisticated
medical device computer with specialized software. The innovative use
of biofeedback is backed by decades of research and based on the
principle that the body resonates in response to specific frequencies.
Using this basic principle, the body reveals the energy frequencies it
needs to become healthy.
Biofeedback therapy improves physical vitality, emotional and mental health.
Trina also offers pet massage and the use of essential oils and flower essence to calm and soothe the animal. As in humans, massage and acupuncture can be used for pets suffering from common conditions like arthritis. These treatments are especially useful for dogs that are prone to degenerative joint diseases and osteoarthritis and can be paired with traditional medication if necessary.
Holistic pet care addresses the animal as a whole, looking at more than the obvious when trying to determine the root of a particular problem, or when giving simple preventative care. It also takes into account an animal's complete environment as well as their mental well being in addition to their physical body when it comes to developing the best course of action.
